Akshayashakti’s AkshayaDhaaga Skill Centre at Basti Vikas Kendra, Nangal Raya, New Delhi in partnership with DISHA Society was opened for the welfare of women. Gratitude to all our supporters
With hearts full of gratitude and joy, we formally inaugurated AkshayaDhaaga, an ongoing skill development program for self-reliance, led by DISHA Society and Radhakrishna Foundation at Sewagram, Wardha. The project has commenced on 7th March as a precursor to the International Women’s Day 2025 for ‘Accelerating Actions’ on gender equality, SDG goal.
We were honored to welcome Mrs. Mary Sathianathan, a dedicated social worker from Nagpur, whose presence added warmth and encouragement to the occasion.
A special delight was the presence of my dear friends and classmates from the Nai Taleem school:
Shri Namdev Bhau, Shri Basant Chavhan Bhau, Shri Vasant Thenge Bhau, Shri Pawan Singh Gangwar Bhau, Smt. Kanta Taksande Tai, Smt. Farzana Tai, Smt. Lata Tai, Shri Dilip Chavhan Bhau, and Smt. Sangita Chavhan Tai, along with 20 students and their families.
A heartfelt appreciation to Shri Ramesh Kumar, whose dedication and efforts from both organizations made this event truly outstanding, creating a meaningful platform for women’s empowerment in Sewagram Juni Vasti.
We extend our gratitude to Akshaya Shakti Welfare Association, Mumbai, and Singer India Limited, Wardha, for their unwavering support in making this vision a reality.
